WHOA!
It's been about two weeks since I have blogged!
Even Sissy is surprised!
This is a picture Mama took for Great Grandpa (Nakazawa). She didn't use this picture for the actual present, but it's Mama's favorite. It makes her giggle. I personally think her eyelashes look crazy!
Don't worry, Great Grandpa doesn't hang out on the computer, so we aren't ruining his Christmas present. So, don't tell him!
The past two weeks, Mama has gained the courage to put Sissy in cloth diapers. She bought them when Sissy was still in her tummy, and she was so excited about them...but once Sissy was born, Mama got scared. But, now, Mama loves them! No more exploding diapers! And Mama changes her half as many times as she used to. Plus, they are cute. Sissy doesn't even need bloomers with her dresses anymore. Mama just lets her wear her diapers. The only downside, is that they are kind of bulky under pants and onesies. Good thing Sissy wears a lot of dresses.
Sissy also became big enough to use her Bumbo seat! She doesn't like it very much, she will only hang out in it for maybe 5 minutes at a time. But, it makes it so she can hang out by herself for a bit.
Which is good when hanging out and petting her friends.
I laugh at Sissy, because when Mama comes to take her out of the Bumbo chair, she gets stuck. The chair comes up with her, and Mama has to shake it off until it falls. Sissy's thighs are too chunky!
Still doing tummy time.
Her neck is getting super strong.
As you can see, her crib is not used for sleeping yet. But, Mama said when she can roll over on her own, she will let go and let her sleep in her own room.
This may not sound like a big deal to you, but it is for us!
Sissy took a nap for more than 20 minutes during the day!
The family (minus me, thank goodness) had to go to Sissy's doctor. She is so big, she can sit in the big kid chairs in the waiting room now!
Mama thought Sissy was teething! She is SUPER drooly, and has little white buds on her gums.
While they were waiting in the exam room, Sissy met a new friend. She loves her! I think her friend is kind of a stalker, because she seems to be everywhere we go, including our house! Sissy sees her in store and car windows, our bathroom, and even puddles!
Oh, and she isn't teething.
Thank goodness. Mama would've taken her off the boob so fast!
Sissy has Epstein (spelling?) pearly cysts on her gums. I guess they are normal and common. And like baby acne (which Sissy didn't have) it goes away on its own. So, nothing to worry about.
This is Daddy and Sissy watching the Broncos (the past few weeks) win at the last minute.
This is how Sissy likes to watch her games (and cartoons). Her cloth diaper gives her a good base to balance on. And her bare arms and drooly hands help her grip the sofa.
She is a true Nakazawa and Corwin. She loves the TV. Mama tries to kid herself and say it is all about the colors, but I think she just likes it, just like the rest of us.
As for me...
This is me, looking guilty, and tucking my paws under.
Why you ask?
Because I have been chewing/licking my paws a lot. Which means I get in trouble a lot. And as you can see a little bit on my white side, inbetween my wrinkle on the bottom, I have been scratching my face. It looks worse if you saw it from the side. Daddy has threatened me with a visit to the doctor to get an allergy shot. Mama has threatened me with a cone. But neither of them have followed through yet. I have a feeling I have Sissy to thank for that. She sucks up so much time, I think my parents forget....until I scratch/chew myself again. Plus, I think Mama just feels sad when she sees me with a cone on my head.
I'll try to keep up on my blog. I apologize for the gap in weeks. Like I said before, my Sissy tends to take up a lot of time. But, with the holiday season here, I am sure I will have more to say.
She's so gorgeous! Those are amazing eyelashes (I'm jealous), and beautiful coloured big eyes.
ReplyDeleteShe's getting more beautiful by the day!
