Just a quickie...

This week was a bit slow, and Mama's camera was broken, so there aren't many pictures.  But, here is a little summary.
My sister is officially 7 months old.  And in 7 months, this is the first toy that has been destroyed by yours truly.  Tia Ericka caught me eating it.  I "found" it in my sister's diaper bag.  It was fun chewing it up!

My sister started eating green stuff.  This is an avocado.  She was ok with it at first, but as time went by, she decided she didn't like it.

The family got to see the Schultz Clan!
The boys were super nice and gave my sister piggy back rides!

Silly boys!
My sister kept holding on her their hair like they were horses!

Everyone went to Auntie Laurie and Uncle Andy's house for family dinner night.  This week, they had a wine tasting.  This is my sister with Auntie Dee.  Boy did my sissy want to join in!  But, Auntie Dee kept her in check.

"Is anyone looking?"

Aaaannnd, the wine cork went straight in her mouth.  Just like everything else.

Sissy got to play with cousin Mia. Today was Mia's 8 month birthday!  And today was Sissy's 7 month birthday!

Cousin Mia has teeth, and can crawl!  And she is almost walking!

 Let's see, what else?
It was raining, so Sissy wore jeans for the first time.  She normally wears dresses and leggings.  Mama thought it looked so funny!

Sissy went to a farm, and they had piglets!  Mama said these reminded her of me!  My sister loved the kobutas! (Piglet in Japanese)  She was jumping all over the place!

This was one big kobuta!  This pig was going to give birth in one week!  Mama said it was scary!  About 4 feet tall, and 6-7 feet long!

and look at these cows!  They were so scary!  Mama said they were like dinosaurs!  In the picture, you can see Sissy's friend, Jessalyn's, daddy in the picture.  The cow was a good foot and a half taller than him!

The farm tired my sister out.  And as you can see, she lost a sock.  Mama didn't go back to get it, she said the mutant cows could have it.

I'll have more to report next week!  Grandma and Grandpa are coming to town!  Yea!

HAPPY EASTER!

HAPPY EASTER TO YOU ALL!
I hope everyone had a nice holiday weekend!
It was warm, sunny, and perfect!

I am sorry I slept through last weekend.
There wasn't much to report anyway.  So,  my post would've been boring, and I don't want to put everyone to sleep.

This week wasn't all that eventful either (other than Easter).  But, I will fill you in anyway.
Mommy, Daddy, and Tia Ericka took my sister on one of their food adventures.
They ate at Bruxie!  Mama loves it there.
Everything is made with waffles!  So, instead of bread, they use yummy waffles!

This was Daddy's Bacon Cheeseburger.
Sissy was disappointed that he wouldn't share with her.

Oh, my sister said to thank Grandma and Grandpa for all of her dresses that come in the mail from time to time.  Especially this one!  It came with curly ribbons that kept her occupied.  When Mama would pick her up, they would be cold, wet and gross.  But, Mama said that is a small price to pay for a happy, quiet baby.

Sissy went to the pool.  This is the cover up for her new swimsuit that Grandma and Grandpa got her.

She did a little sunbathing.

And swimming.

And when she was all done, she bundled up and took a nap.
(Because she does that now...she's sleep trained!)

Great Grandpa came all the way out here to eat lunch with Mom and Sissy!

Sissy went on some playdates with the Mommy and Me group.
They went well as always.

The swings are always a good time.

Grandma and Grandpa sent an Easter package for my sister, and guess what?!
I got stuff too!
Thank you!

At Mommy and Sissy's playgroup, there is a mommy that has a sushi restaurant.  So, this weekend they went to try it out.  Mama said it is pretty good for how reasonable it is.
The mommy that owns the place gave my sister her first pair of hashi (chopsticks).
It took her awhile to figure it out...

But she started to get used to them.

And even practiced picking things up!
She only eats purees right now, but by the time she eats real food, she will be a pro!

So, here is how we celebrated Easter this year.
I was the Easter Bunny!
All kidding aside, we had a pretty good Easter photoshoot.

We didn't get many pictures, but the ones we did weren't too bad.

BUT, it is obvious who is the professional and who is the amateur.
Maybe when she has five years under her belt like me, she will be better at it.

My sister's playgroup also had an "Easter Hop and Play"

She has a lot of fun finding eggs with all her friends.

And there was a lot of food!  The moms got really creative, like these devilled eggs that looked like little chickies!

She even got to dress up!

And play with things she shouldn't have!  Mama was scared the balloons would pop in her face when she'd try to eat them.

The playgroup also went to the Irvine Railroad/Park to join the Easter festivities!

That's where she met the Easter Bunny.  She was really good, she didn't even cry!

She was so tired when the day was over.

For Easter Sunday (today) Tia Ericka invited everyone to her house to eat!
Sissy played on Tia's bed.  It's super comfy and squishy.

Tia Ericka bought her this outfit.
Originally she was wearing the same outfit that she wore to the Easter Hop and Play, but this one was much more comfy.  And it said, "My First Easter" on it, with a Mama and baby bunny kissing.  It was sweet.

And again, she had so much fun, she was wiped out and fell asleep!

She's silly.
Even in her sleep she plays with her feet!

I'll see you next week!
I will try not to forget to post next week, no matter how routine our weeks are.
I hope you had a great couple weeks!
